--- About ---

For the majority of my life I have sought a hobby... I have tried many things, for example - Guitar, Harmonica, fly Tying, Fly Fishing, Wood working, Wood Carving, Hiking, Robotics. Although I enjoyed all of those things -- for all the hobbies I tried none of them had all the elements I wanted in a hobby: Creative, constructive, Timely (something I can do anytime I want) and Practical/suitability (something that utilized my current skill set and did not require significant amounts of practice to learn).

Then in July of 2009 I bought a 1991 Jeep Wrangler...
  • Creative - I can express my creativity in what I do to the jeep and how I make it mine.
  • Constructive - its hands on work, building and repairing and restoring.
  • Timely - If I am repairing something, then I can go in the garage and work, If it is running I can go drive anytime I want, If I want to make a mod I can do that anytime I want.
  • Practicallity/Suitability - turning wrenches is something I can do, I may not always no exactly what needs to be done, but there are plenty of manuals and web forums to fix that and with a little reading I can learn what needs to be done without months of practice.
